News + Updates

~ JULY 24, 2026: I, uh... may be having a little too much fun working on my Digimon Shrine lol.

Anyways, I recently discovered "pixel cliques"! Right off the bat, I'm heavily interested in Deckonomicon and Chao Garden, and I'm already looking around for any others that I may want to be a part of (I will be so happy if there are any themed around Digimon and GameBoy). I'm usually too shy to be a part of communities and whatnot, but these look like a LOT of fun, and once I work up enough courage as well as feel a bit more confident with my pixel art skills I'd love to join a few!

~ JULY 23, 2026: Went ahead and gave my Digimon Shrine its own unique layout, using colors borrowed from this specific blinkie. I haven't decided on a background image yet, though. Found one! I borrowed a GIF from a friend and recolored it to match the layout. Not sure if I'm gonna keep it, but at least it looks pretty rad.

I'm not feeling up to much today, so I'm probably going to be spending much of my time working on each of the pages for my Digimon Shrine.

~ JULY 22, 2026: Fixed up some coding on a few pages and finally got a marquee working in the area above the header on the home page, which, for some dumb reason I cannot even fathom, took quite a bit of fiddling for me to get it to stop breaking things in weird ways lol. I also added a color code to my to-do list and made another temporary music player page, which plays the whole soundtrack to Planet Puzzle League (though I'm not yet sure if I will be using it on the website). UPDATE ON JULY 24, 2026: Nevermind, I couldn't figure out which page(s) would vibe well with the game's music, so I deleted it.

Probably not gonna do much else today, as I'm more interested in working on my silly game that I want to add to the website. Sooo I wound up sleeping half the day and working on a bunch of smaller things rather than the game lol. On the bright side, I did actually start on it last night, so I technically can officially announce that I am working on it!

~ JULY 21, 2026: I went ahead and put a link to my "Digimon Shrine" page in the navbar and linked the sub-pages I made for it. I also put a topbar on the Home Page for small, potentially silly announcements, as well as a link to a simple to-do list just under the GifyPet, and have updated my About Me page.

Oh, I've been making new pixel art and sprite edits whenever I have some free time, so make sure you check my Pixel Art page every couple of days or so to see what I came up with!

~ JULY 20, 2026: Changed some of the text on my Home Page, moved the blinkies on my Home Page to a new "Blinkies" page linked in my Artwork & Music page, added links for several new pages to my Artwork & Music page (some of them don't have anything yet), and started a "Digimon Shrine" page that will be updated over the next several days and getting a navbar link once I'm happy with it. Also changed the file name of a couple pages, so I had to go on another scavenger hunt to find and replace the old links (I never learn lol).

I'm debating on making some pages for talking/rambling about vpets, shenanigans in games I play that utilize pixel art, and other silly things, with photos and screenshots and even silly video captures.

~ JULY 19, 2026: As I have not yet managed to figure out dropdown menus, I decided to add an Artwork & Music page and moved the Pixel Art, Sprite Edits, and Rytmik Creations navbar links to it to minimize clutter in the navbar. Also swapped the News + Updates and Resources 'n Stuff links, as they looked really weird to me for some reason lol.

Planning on adding sections for custom Minecraft and possibly Terraria and Stardew Valley textures, replacing the GifyPet on the Home page with my own digital pet coded from scratch so I can add more fun ways to play with it, and making a silly GameBoy game that can be played on the website or downloaded to be played on an emulator.

~ JULY 17, 2026: Added a page for sprite recolors with a few that I made recently, and have been experimenting with silly stuff that I would love to add in the future. Also made a bunch of smaller changes and tweaks to various things.

Planning on adding dropdown menus to the navbar to minimize clutter, giving each page its own song to play in the background, and putting a marquee above my website's header that randomly changes every time the page is reloaded.

~ JULY 16, 2026: Added and linked my About Me page. It's still a work-in-progress, though. I also changed the font on every page.

~ JULY 15, 2026: Added a header that kind of matches my website's background. I will likely be making a better one in the future, but this one will work for now.
