News + Updates

~ AUGUST 21, 2026: Expanding on my previous update: my mental health tanked HARD recently, and I have been having intrusive memories and nonstop meltdowns all week, so I decided it would probably be helpful if I focused on a different hobby that does not require a computer, and will be minimizing my time online quite a bit for a while. HOWEVER! I also decided to make a new website to go along with said hobby! It's called Phantasy's Crochet Paradise, featuring a world themed around yarn and crochet (similar to Yoshi's Woolly World, actually!), and, as you can guess by the name, a completely new sona will be "running" it! I still haven't decided on the layout colors, but I think I already know how I want to set up the layout, and using what I have learned from my 2000+ updates to this website, I shouldn't have many issues (and HOPEFULLY far less updates lol) when working on the new website.

There are currently only two active pages: the Home Page and Phantasy's Bio. At the moment, I will only be updating them whenever I need to take breaks from my projects, and will only be adding additional pages when I actually need them. This will help me minimize my screen time a LOT, giving me more time to crochet some fun things revolving around Phantasy and their world, while also allowing me to still enjoy website building without further tanking my mental state. I am a bit limited on yarn, so I'm not sure how much I will be able to do, but I should still be able to crochet enough things to help me stabilize my mental state, and when I feel ready to return to pixel art, it should be easy for me to simultaneously make new things for both this website and Phantasy's Crochet Paradise. Heck, I could even do a crossover, as I know how to do a pixel art style with crochet! That would definitely be a fun project 😃

But first, I absolutely MUST prioritize my mental health recovery above all else... Wish me luck? Please?

~ AUGUST 18, 2026: Due to severe mental health issues, I'm going to take a short break from website building to focus on some of my other creative hobbies. Any updates made after today will be new pixel art and/or music being added, and small additions and tweaks to my About Me page.

~ AUGUST 9, 2026: I just came up with a fun idea for a new page/section! I'm not going to talk about it until I decide on how I'm going to implement it, but I can say it involves one of my childhood favorite video game characters, and that I may expand it to other franchises if my idea works out well enough :D

~ AUGUST 7, 2026: I made a Fake Game Screenshots page, and removed my Blinkies and Game Textures pages. I haven't decided if I will be re-adding them in the future.

~ AUGUST 6, 2026: Since my last update, my wisdom tooth has become even more troublesome. I have a dentist appointment next week, hopefully they'll pull my wisdom tooth along with the broken tooth next to it. Until then, unless I'm uploading new pixel art or photos, I won't be doing any big updates or changes to my website.

I recently got the White Glacier Tamagotchi Paradise and a second Tamagotchi Connection, and have started trying out mods for Stardew Valley. They've been giving me some new pixel art and game ideas, which I will be experimenting with any time I'm able to get my pain down to a tolerable state. I will mention anything of interest here, and will share any new pixel art and/or sprites to my Pixel Art page.

~ AUGUST 1, 2026: Didn't actually think I would be doing a big update today lol. I just replaced my Digimon Shrine navbar link with an "Extra Sections" page, move it over to said page and added a link to my new Tamagotchi section, which I'm calling Tamagotchi Village for now. I had to go to every page to replace the navbar links, and I wound up moving all of my Digimon Shrine pages and images into a new subfolder, so once again I had to go on a little scavenger hunt and fix all the links on those pages. Sigh. Oh, and I stayed up last night making cute vpet sprites, which can be seen on my Pixel Art page :D

After all this, I'm going to spend the rest of my day working on little things for my Tamagotchi section. I have some photos I wanna add, just gotta dig around and find them, and I've also done a Tamagotchi perler bead project recently that I'm going to add later.
